The 2011/12 JCR Committee
The Committee are the persons responsible for the day to day management of the Common Room. They are elected by the membership in the Spring Term and take office from the first say of the Summer Term until the end of the following Spring Term. Roles and Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for managing the JCR
- Oversees the activities of the JCR Committee as
its Chair
- Serves as the main point of contact for the JCR with the Hall, University the local community and the Students' Union;
- Manages and constructs the development of the JCR
- Calls and organises elections to the JCR committee
- Updates and maintains the Constitution as necessary or directed by General Meetings

- Serves at the President's deputy and performs his duties when he is unable to
- The voice of the Committee at General Meetings
- Oversees all campaigning activities within the JCR including, but not limited to advertising, awareness campaigns and promotions;
