Representative Elections 2011

As you are probably aware, having been directed toward this page, Stenton JCR are currently looking to recruit ONE representative from each house to sit on the committee for the rest of the year, informing the rest of us of what you Stenton residents really want, and giving us a kick up the bum to make sure we do it!

We've had a huge amount of interest in the 2011 house rep elections - candidates for each election are as follows:

Ipsden Representative

Jevington Representative

• Stephen Kemp
• Re-Open Nominations

Kintbury Representative

• Amy White
• Georgia Coleman

• Zarah Shah
• Re-Open Nominations

Votes are cast in order of preference via the alternative voting system. After each round, the candidate with the lowest number of first preferences is eliminated. All of their second preferences are then transferred to the appropriate candidate. This process continues through as many rounds as are necessary until an overall majority is reached.

Voting is taking place via portal and will be open until 6pm on Saturday 10th of December (so we can get them all counted before x-factor)

Results will be announced at the already-massive-looking Snow Ball on the evening of the 11th of December.
