About Portal
Portal is brand new system being trialled exclusively by Stenton JCR to make your lives much easier and improve the quality of service we can provide. It's not just a mailing list - but will be the centre of all activity at Stenton JCR.
Portal is a completely online member management system allowing us to keep a very accurate record of financial transactions through PayPal as well as giving you access to your data and putting you in control of what you hear from us. The system is the first of its kind at the University of Reading, if not the UK, and launched before Reading University Students' Union.
It is also a complete online voting system allowing us to conduct elections quickly, safely and accurately with very little fuss.
This system is a joint effort between Stenton Hall JCR and two other entities - myWEB and Common Room Connect, both managed by former award winning JCR Officers so you know that your data is in safe hands.
Portal also allows us to update and change other aspects of the site so we can keep it up-to date and as fresh as ever.
Portal is an ongoing development project, with PortalShop in the pipeline and expected to arrive later in Autumn allowing us to sell official merchandise through our website and PayPal

You have the option to turn off any mails from us that you do not want.
If do not wish to accept an invitation you may reject it and never hear from us ever again.
We do not use cookies in any part of our site.
If we make any substantial changes to the policy then all subscribers will be informed.
